Austin

Since we couldn't be there physically to comfort our family, Dad wrote this to send.  I believe they even read it at the service.

Austin

When Austin arrived there was a ringing of bells

He arrived to a Loving Family of O’Dells

On earth Austin lived with lots of pride

With his Friends and Family always by His side

With his uniform on, to the field Austin would go

From the field he would put on quite a show

At the plate he would hit, run and score

All along he knew he would be a coach for sure

He coached from the dugout and it would seem

He made these players into a great team

We are put on earth for a journey to the Promise Land

As Austins’s ride arrived he reached for an Angel’s hand

The journey was swift so face to face, with God, Austin did stand

As Austin talked to God above

His Family stood behind him with support and love

When you leave this earth many believe life will end

But we believe with strong faith, Eternity in Heaven,

Austin will spend

Right now our hearts are broken, but with love and prayers they will mend
