Update 12/2

Dad has been doing great. Everyday he is getting stronger. Today he played wii bowling in therapy and won! He now has an orange tag on his chair - that means that he can go off the floor to the cafeteria, greenhouse or lounge with us or his aide to escort him. He really thinks this is awesome. He said it was like a "date" the first time my mom took him to the cafeteria. It's just nice to have a change of environment sometimes.
Today his grand kids came to visit - they both loved it. First we all sat together in the cafeteria. Then we headed up to the greenhouse where Grandpop and Casey planted and decorated some Christmas plants. Then we hung out on the roof for a while. The kids thought the real gas pump and car were the greatest thing ever! After we got chilly we headed back to grandpop's room where Casey and Drew watched a Christmas show while the rest of us hung out and talked and relaxed. It was a really nice time filled with lots of Jim jokes and laughing.
