Visiting

As you heard Jimmy is scheduled to come home December 14th!! We couldn't be more proud of him! He is ecstatic but is concerned about focusing on therapy and getting rest. He has expressed how much he appreciates the thoughts and prayers, and he understands without all of his friends and family he wouldn't be where he is now. It's important to limit distractions over the next few weeks, so that jimmy can meet his dec 14th goal to return home. He is very anxious to return home (as are we!!) but keeps emphasizing he needs to focus on therapy. We're so happy he understands that and we need to do our best to keep him in a calm environment. We know once he's home he will be excited to see everyone but we also have to keep in mind what a big adjustment it will be for him. We will see how he does once he's home and let everyone know when he's ready for visitors. We will have to make sure the visits are spread out to be sure he doesn't get too overwhelmed. He has already expressed concern over that so we really want to try our best to avoid that and help him out in any way we can with staying calm. Everyone has been so great with supporting Jimmy and allowing him to heal in a calm, yet supportive environment. And we thank you in advance for continuing to do so.
