Happy Thanksgiving

It wasn't our traditional Thanksgiving celebration, but it was the best Thanksgiving ever because we were all together. In the morning we went to the annual Heights/Haddonfield Football game, which was dedicated to my Dad and his recovery. It was great to hear them ask for the support and prayers for a former player in the epic tie years ago. We think that it was a sign that Heights won and that #11 (that was Dad's number) Heights scored the first touchdown! Then it was off to dinner with Dad and the family. The rehab set up the family room with banquet tables that had tablecloths and centerpieces, Aunt Debbie and Uncle Tom did a traditional dinner for us, and we all got to relax, eat, and enjoy each other. Dad put his chair at the end of the table so he could see everything, just like Grandmom. He enjoyed having everyone there and we were probably even more excited to be with him. It was a great time just enjoying each other and being thankful for what we have because we have a lot to be thankful for this year. We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving too!
